     Evening of Hope raises $170,000 for
Center for Translational Cancer Research
At the Evening of Hope Celebration Oct. 13, more than 200 guests joined The Friends of the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute to celebrate 15 years of the Cancer Center with friends and supporters raising $170,000 for the Center for Translational Cancer Research. Guests heard from
scientists in the CTCR about their groundbreaking
research and discoveries in gene editing, breast
cancer, ovarian and colon cancer research. Founded
in 2002, the Friends of the Helen F. Graham Cancer
Center & Research Institute is a volunteer organization
working in cooperation with the clinical staff of the
Graham Cancer Center to help fund programs that
enhance the patient care experience, support cancer
research, and provide public education on prevention,
early detection and treatment of cancer.

Presentations by our experts plus a panel discussion will explore the challenges for medical, home, and safety issues for those with dementia. 23rd Annual Diabetes Update

Lectures using both didactic and case-based scenarios will cover topics designed to provide
an update on diabetes management and diabetes-related comorbidities. Directed at primary care physicians, endocrinologists,
and nurses, nationally recognized faculty will examine new ADA guidelines/cardiovascular, and practical issues across the broad spectrum of diabetes. CME, pharmacy and nursing credits are anticipated.For more information call 302-623-3882.
