Lisa Maxwell appointed chief learning officer
Lisa Maxwell, M.D., MHCDS, has been appointed chief learning officer for Christiana Care Health System.
In this role Dr. Maxwell will oversee the strategic direction and activities of the Institute for Learning Leadership and Development (iLEAD) to ensure the department's alignment with Christiana Care’s goals and priorities.
She will lead efforts to continue promoting Christiana Care as a true learning organization skilled at creating, acquiring and transferring knowledge by embracing systems thinking, continuous learning and interprofessional collaboration.
Dr. Maxwell is a family medicine physician who completed her medical education at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Her residency training took place at Crozer-Keystone Family Medicine. She joined Christiana Care in 2005, completing a fellowship
in faculty development with a focus on the care of underserved populations.
For the next eight years she worked in both student and resident education, serving as the program director in Family Medicine, co-program director for
the Emergency Medicine-Family Medicine Residency Program and director for Undergraduate Medical Education.
In 2016, she was appointed Christiana Care's associate chief learning officer and designated institutional officer for the system.
In addition to leading efforts in clinical system education, she led efforts to establish the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University's Delaware Branch Campus for medical students.
In February of 2018, Dr. Maxwell received a Master of Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College and was appointed interim chair for the Department of Family & Community Medicine.
She has held regional and local leadership positions in various organizations, including the board of
the Delaware Institute of Medical Education and Research (DIMER). She continues to practice primary care at Christiana Care Family Medicine at Claymont Center. She reports to Neil Jasani, M.D., MBA, FACEP, chief people officer. 
   Ruth Boldt appointed iLEAD director, Clinical Application User Support
Ruth Boldt, MS, PMP, has been appointed director, Clinical Application User Support, for the Institute for Learning, Leadership and Development (iLEAD).
In this role she will direct and implement system-wide user support for clinical and scheduling applications, including Cerner PowerChart, Revenue Cycle, FirstNet and other systems as needed to assure unsurpassed excellence with the use of the integrated clinical information technology.
In addition, she will lead the iLEAD Clinical Application Support Team in developing and maintaining both project and operational end-user support and act as a liaison to departments within the organization for end user support of clinical systems.
Boldt has worked intermittently as a consultant with Christiana Care for more than 11 years and knows the health system IT team and processes well. She has been the project manager or led the training for multiple go-live events, including Cerner Ambulatory, RadNet and Soarian.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Ball State University in Indiana and a Master of Science in Adult Education from Indiana University. She is
a doctoral student in Human and Organizational Learning at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She reports to Neil Jasani, M.D., MBA, FACEP, chief people officer. 
