Christiana Care ranked as the top hospital in patient safety in the Philadelphia market in 12 areas: COPD, pneumonia care, interventional carotid care, vascular surgery, hip fracture repair, major orthopaedic surgery, spinal fusion, spinal surgery, bariatric surgery, gall bladder removal, gastrointestinal hemorrhage and trauma care.
Christiana Care also was ranked as a Top 100 hospital in the nation by CareChex in medical excellence in 13 measures and in patient safety in 13 measures.
