 Rob McMurray appointed Christiana Care CFO
 Rob McMurray, MBA, CPA, has been named chief financial officer of Christiana Care Health System.
As CFO, McMurray is responsible
for the direction and oversight of all financial operations at Christiana Care. He also has oversight of supply chain operations and, more recently, provided leadership for the implementation of a
new enterprise-wide core financial system. He joined Christiana Care in 2008 as vice president and controller.
He is the board chair of the Delaware Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine, Inc., a Christiana Care Health Services subsidiary, and is on the boards of eBrightHealth ACO and The Committee of 100.
Prior to joining Christiana Care, McMurray was a senior manager in the assurance practice in Ernst & Young’s Philadelphia office, specializing in health care.
McMurray received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Temple University and a master’s degree in business administration from Drexel University. He is also a certified public accountant. 
 Jennifer Schwartz appointed chief legal officer
 Jennifer Schwartz, Esq., joined Christiana Care as chief legal officer in June, reporting directly to President and CEO Janice E. Nevin, M.D., MPH.
Schwartz’s last post was as vice president of legal affairs and general counsel for Lourdes Health System and chief executive director of the LHS Health Network ACO.
As chief legal officer she is a core member of Christiana Care’s senior leadership team and contributes to strategic discussions and decision-making impacting the health system.
She is responsible for all legal affairs across the system and provides counsel to the senior leadership team and Board of Directors. She serves as health system corporate secretary and staff to the Board of Directors and committees of the Board. She manages and leads the Legal and Risk Management departments.
As general counsel at Lourdes, Schwartz was responsible for all legal matters at a three-hospital health system, participated in the over- sight of health system operations and led strategic revenue-generat- ing initiatives. As chief executive director of the LHS Health Network ACO she was responsible for leading the strategy, operations and performance of the network, eventually building the organization to be one of the largest primary care physician networks in New Jersey.
Prior to joining Lourdes, she was a partner in the law firms of Fox Rothschild, LLP, and Gluck Walrath, LLP, where she represented acute care hospitals and providers in a wide range of areas, such as new models of care under health care reform; physician-alignment strategies; third-party reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid; federal and state regulatory compliance; certificate of need; strategic hospital affiliations, including joint operating arrange- ments; and risk management.
Schwartz received her law degree from Widener University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Denison University in Ohio. 
 Danielle Weber appointed vice president, Patient Care Services
 Danielle Weber, MSN, MS, RN-BC, NEA-BC, has been named vice president, Patient Care Services, after serving in the interim vice president role since October 2017.
In this capacity she is responsible for the Heart and Vascular and Neurosciences service lines.
She supports Behavioral Health,
Rehabilitation, and Radiology clinical nursing. Previously she served in several leadership positions, including patient care coordinator and nurse manager of the Transitional Surgical Unit, and most recently as nurse manager of the Neuro Critical Care Unit and Transitional Neuro Unit.
In these roles, she has supported both daily operations and strategic plan development for achieving optimal patient outcomes, patient satisfaction and employee engagement.
Weber has more than 20 years of experience at Christiana Care and is well prepared to strategically advance clinical nursing practice.
She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Neumann University and a master’s degree in nursing leadership from Wilmington University. She has received several awards, including the Daisy Nurse Leader Award, and presented at several professional organizational conferences.
She is board certified in medical-surgical nursing and as a nurse executive, advanced through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. 
