Christiana Care earns 5-Star ranking from Hospital Compare
Fewer than 350 hospitals nationwide earned 5-Star distinction
Christiana Care Health System has earned the highest rating, five stars, in the Five-Star Quality
Rating System by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Hospital Compare website. Christiana Care is one of only 337 hospitals — fewer than 11 percent of hospitals nationwide — that earned the highest-possible quality rating.

The Hospital Compare rating summarizes more than 50 quality measures into an overall star rating for each hospital. They include measures related to mortality, readmission, safety,
patient experience, efficient use of medical imaging and other
publicly reported data.
