ChristianaCare has added Dover, Delaware-based medical practice Adolescent Medicine & General Pediatric Allergy, PA, to its network of pediatric services with the new name ChristianaCare Pediatrics at Dover.

Children from birth to 18 years old in Dover and surrounding communities can now benefit from the advantages of the highest quality pediatric care that is connected to Delaware’s largest health system.

“Parents can be confident their children will receive exceptional, personalized care at all of our pediatric locations,” said David Paul, M.D., chair of the Department of Pediatrics at ChristianaCare.

“All of our practice locations offer a welcoming environment where parents and children can build a trusting relationship and seek medical advice. This practice has an outstanding reputation of service to the Dover community, and we’re proud that they’ve become part of our ChristianaCare family of services.

The practice provides a wide range of services for children and teens, including primary medical care for infants and children, childhood vaccines, physical examinations, preventive medicine and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.

As part of ChristianaCare, the practice is now able to offer an enhanced experience of care powered by innovative technology. This includes the option of virtual visits using a computer, tablet or smartphone, as well as easy access to medical records and the ability to connect with the care team using ChristianaCare’s secure, digital patient portal.

All ChristianaCare pediatric practices are accepting new patients and have provided safe care throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Karen Leigh Moore, LPN.

Fizul Bacchus, Ph.D., D.O., who was with the practice for over 30 years, recently retired. ChristianaCare intends to add another provider in coming months.
