Media Advisory: ChristianaCare to Announce $1.6 Million Investment in 25 Nonprofits Advancing Community Health

WHAT: ChristianaCare is announcing the 25 recipients of a $1.6 million investment through its Community Investment Fund from 1-3 p.m. on Feb. 6, 2025 at the Ministry of Caring in Wilmington. The recipients are local nonprofits working to advance health and well-being across Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Speakers include:
• Bettina Tweardy Riveros, chief health equity officer at ChristianaCare.
• YMCA of Delaware.
• DE Center for Horticulture.
• The Resurrection Center.

Since 2019, ChristianaCare’s Community Investment Fund has provided more than $5.6 million to 64 organizations, addressing social, behavioral and environmental health factors shaping community health.
