Dr. Janice Tildon-Burton’s medical practice in Glasgow joins ChristianaCare’s network of women’s health practices

The medical practice of Janice Tildon-Burton, M.D., in the Glasgow Medical Center in Newark, Del., has joined ChristianaCare’s network of women’s health services as ChristianaCare Women’s Health at Glasgow.

Women and girls age 14 and above in Glasgow and the surrounding communities can now benefit from the advantages of primary care that’s connected to Delaware’s largest health system, including ChristianaCare’s innovative Center for Women’s & Children’s Health.

“Our partnership with ChristianaCare will greatly benefit our patients, providing them with easy referrals to a wide range of truly exceptional health care services at ChristianaCare,” said Janice Tildon-Burton, M.D. who has led the practice the last 30 years. “If you’re looking for a new provider for women’s health services, we look forward to meeting you!”

The practice provides a wide range of services including complete obstetrical and gynecological care, well woman visits, annual pap smears, breast exams, menopausal care, sexually transmitted infection screenings and treatment, and adolescent gynecology.

That support includes ChristianaCare’s innovative technology that provides patients with the option of virtual visits using their personal electronic devices. Patients can also access their secure patient portal that provides easy access to their health records and helps them to be actively engaged in their health.

All ChristianaCare women’s health practices are accepting new patients and have provided safe care throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
