ChristianaCare Offers Neurology Services at New Medical Practice Site in the Town of Whitehall to Serve Communities in Middletown Area

ChristianaCare will add family medicine services later this year

Residents in the Middletown, Delaware, area now have convenient access to award-winning, outpatient neurologic care at a new practice location at 735 Mapleton Ave. in the community of Whitehall.

Later this year ChristianaCare will add family medicine services at the 10,000 square foot Whitehall site.

The neurology practice at the location, named ChristianaCare Neurology Specialists at Whitehall, is staffed by ChristianaCare’s outpatient neurosciences team and offers comprehensive, personalized care by experts trained in the diagnosis, management, treatment and prevention of neurovascular illnesses.

“ChristianaCare Neurology Specialists fills a need for specialty neurologic care in this growing area of Delaware,” said Jason Silversteen, D.O., clinical leader of Outpatient Neurosciences at ChristianaCare. “Our new practice site is an extension of our established neurology sites in Newark and Wilmington. To receive the care they need, patients do not need travel far, pay tolls or cross any bridges.”

The new practice location offers a beautiful, clean and welcoming environment where patients can build a trusting relationship with their provider and seek medical advice. All ChristianaCare specialty care practices are accepting new patients and are providing safe care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ChristianaCare’s presence in Middletown also includes the Middletown CareCenter at 124 Sleepy Hollow Drive where patients can access urgent care, family medicine, imaging, women’s health and rehabilitation services. In addition, the Middletown Free-Standing Emergency Department at 621 Middletown Odessa Road serves the entire Middletown-Odessa-Townsend area.
