ChristianaCare is broadening its commitment to health care access in West Grove, Pennsylvania, by opening a new imaging site and adding a cardiologist to its primary care practice.

These services are part of ChristianaCare’s larger vision for southern Chester County, which includes the development of a neighborhood hospital on its West Grove campus.

“We are thrilled to expand our services and bring advanced imaging and cardiology care to our neighbors in West Grove,” said Pauline Corso, regional executive director, Southeast Pennsylvania Administration. “Our goal is to ensure that our patients have access to the best possible care without having to travel far from home.”

Imaging Services
The new imaging site offers walk-in X-ray and scheduled mammography and ultrasound appointments. ChristianaCare Imaging Services provides accurate, efficient diagnoses, ensuring patients receive timely and precise care. Patients should check with their insurance carrier to ensure these services are covered before visiting or scheduling appointments.

Cardiology Services
Joining the ChristianaCare team in West Grove is Ronald Lewis, Jr., D.O., FACOI, FACC, a highly respected cardiologist with nearly 40 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine.

“I’m incredibly excited to be a part of this community’s journey toward better heart health,” said Lewis. “It’s an honor to bring my expertise and passion for cardiology to the people of West Grove, where I can help empower them to take control of their heart health and live longer, healthier lives right here at home.”

As a board-certified cardiologist, Lewis is dedicated to providing compassionate, experienced care and advanced treatment options for patients with chronic and acute heart conditions and guidance on a heart-healthy lifestyle. He will be available for office visits on Tuesdays at ChristianaCare Primary Care at West Grove.

West Grove Campus
Construction is underway on the neighborhood hospital on ChristianaCare’s West Grove campus, a 20,000 square foot, 10 inpatient bed hospital and emergency department expected to open mid-2025.
