Nancy Cornett Named Corporate Director, Core Primary Care
Nancy Cornett, MBA, has been appointed corporate director of Core Primary Care. In this new role, Cornett will assume responsibility for ChristianaCare’s operation of its non-teaching primary care practices in Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland and Pennsylvania. She will work collaboratively with the newly forming primary care leadership team, complex and community care, Population Health, Medical Group colleagues and campus operations to provide leadership and direction over Primary Care.
Cornett joins ChristianaCare with more than 20 years of healthcare experience rooted in practice management, population health and performance improvement. Most recently, she was senior administrative director for the Crozer Health Medical Group. In this role, she was responsible for the operations of primary care, sports medicine, pediatrics and geriatrics. Cornett brings with her the foundation needed to help ChristianaCare advance its practice operations while executing and delivering on its population health goals.
Cornett earned an MBA from LaSalle University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Appalachian State University. She also is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) through the American Society for Quality. She reports to Francis A. Gott III MBA, RRT, vice president of Longitudinal Care.
