On June 17, ChristianaCare welcomed 105 new residents and fellows into 27 training programs during their long coat ceremony, a rite of passage for students in medicine and other health fields, signifying their entrance into the profession.
“This program really drew me,” said Grace Clark, M.D., OB/GYN resident. “It has a culture of inclusion and support and really cutting-edge work.”
Our new residents and fellows hail from our native Delaware and states nationwide including Florida, Texas and California.
“They have chosen our community and our hospitals and clinics to come and train,” said Tabassum Salam, M.D., MBA, FACP, chief learning officer. “They are ready to learn and in turn take care of us.”
