Sean Nolan has been appointed vice president, Emergency Services Operations. In this role, Nolan provides operational leadership for the emergency departments and will focus on developing, defining, planning and managing services that enable the efficient operations of Emergency Services. He collaborates closely with nursing and physician leadership to help achieve strategic goals related to access, throughput, quality and experience.
Prior to this role, Nolan served as campus operations officer for the Newark campus.
Nolan received an undergraduate degree in accounting from Franklin & Marshall College and a combined Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
Nolan continues to report to System Chief Operating Officer Sharon Kurfuerst, Ed.D., OTR/L, FACHE, in this new role.
