Rhonda Holcomb Named Corporate Director of Engagement and Optimization
Rhonda Holcomb, MHA, has been appointed corporate director of engagement and optimization for ChristianaCare. In this role, she will guide clinics on the development of cohesive team-based care, enhance care pathways by enabling and optimizing technology and leveraging patient-centeredness to reduce total cost of care through engagement and optimization of quality, safety and patient experience.
Holcomb has 25 years of experience in healthcare, population health and primary care. Before joining ChristianaCare, her previous roles include manager of government program performance, senior clinical practice transformation coordinator and site supervisor of primary care. During her tenure at Geisinger, she gained a diverse working knowledge of accountable care organization (ACO) and primary care operations, efficiency, employee engagement and practice transformation. Her extensive leadership and passion for serving others has led her and her teams to national recognition in patience experience, achieving shared savings across multiple ACOs and, most importantly, attaining better health for individuals, populations and overall communities.
Holcomb earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in healthcare administration from Colorado State University.
She reports to Anthony (Tony) Reed, vice president of Population Health Operations.
