Keith Heitz appointed corporate director of Perioperative and Surgical Services

Keith Heitz, MTS, LSSMBB, CPhT, has been appointed corporate director of Perioperative and Surgical Services.

In this role Heitz has oversight of quality initiatives, data management and all centralized sterilization services at Christiana Care.

Since joining the health system in 2007, he has become a valued leader. Heitz has more than 20 years of health care experience including operations leadership, supervisory roles, strategy development and deployment, and continuous quality improvement.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Atlanta Christian College and a Master of Theological Studies from Palmer Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration from Wilmington University.

Heitz reports to Judy Townsley, MSN, CPAN, NEA-BC, FACHE, vice president of Perioperative Services.
