A day to celebrate Asian-Pacific Island heritage
Thursday, May 19, Christiana Care’s Multicultural Heritage Committee sponsored an event that celebrated Asian and Pacific Island heritage. The four-hour program, hosted by Stacy N. Burwell, program coordinator, Diversity and Inclusion, highlighted the rich dance, song and dress of Chinese, Indian and Polynesian origins as demonstrated by many Christiana Care staff, physicians and friends.
Dance demonstrations and performances included Qi Gon, Tai Chi, Bollywood dance and more.
