Christiana Care leaders honored at Black Achievers in Business and Industry Awards

Dora Beckham, manager of Human Resources Operations, and Stacy N. Burwell, program coordinator for The Learning Institute/System Learning, were honored Oct. 24th during the 25th annual YMCA Black Achievers in Business and Industry Awards at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. Beckham and Burwell were recognized for their active roles in community involvement during the event, which featured actor and writer Hill Harper as the keynote speaker.

During the next year, Beckham and Burwell will mentor high school students most Saturday mornings as part of a yearlong educational program at the Walnut Street YMCA.
