Focus on Excellence gets better every year

Since 2003 at Christiana Care Health System, the Annual Focus on Excellence Awards and Exhibit has given formal recognition to teams of employees who develop and enter projects demonstrating improvement in health care, hospital, safety, business and other processes using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) model.

In October 2010, these teams exhibited 77 entries, addressing improvement challenges in practically every area of endeavor at Christiana Care.
